Veedersburg - Mrs. Stella Delp, 69, of 313 W. Keeling St., died of a heart ailment at noon Thursday in Lakeview Hospital at Danville, Ill., where she had been a patient five days. She was born in Fountain County, Nov. 14, 1899, and first married Pearl Brewer, who preceded her in death. She later married Arbie Delp, who survives. Also surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Maxine Ratcliff, Mrs. Dorothy Kruger, Mrs. Gertrude Ellis, all of Veedersburg, Mrs. Ethel Duncan of Danville, Ill., and Mrs. Hazel Head of Mellott; two sons, Max Brewer of Hillsboro, and Loren Brewer of Veedersburg; a sister, Mrs. Emma Whisler of Veedersburg; a brother, Chancey Fogelman of Veedersburg and 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was a member of Prarie Creek Christian Church near Hillsboro. Funeral services are at 3 pm Saturday at Crumley-Williams Funeral Home in Hillsboro, where friends may call. Rev. Thomas Linton will officiate and burial will be in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery.

VEEDERSBURG, Ind. (CNS) - Mrs. Stella Delp, 69, of 313 W. Kelling, died at noon yesterday (May 8, 1969) at Lake View Memorial in Danville. She had been a patient there for five days. Death was attributed to a heart attack. Born Nov. 14, 1899, in Fountain County, she was the daughter of Murphy and Samantha Little Fogleman, She was married to Pearl Brewer, who died. She later married Arbie Delp, who survives. She was a member of the Prairie Chapel Christian Church. Other survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Ethel Duncan of Danville, Mrs. Hazel Head of Mellott, Mrs. Dorothy Kruger, Mrs. Maxine Ratcliff and Mrs. Gertrude Ellis, all of Veedersburg; two sons, Max Brewer of Hillsboro and Loren Brewer of Veedersburg; a sister, Mrs. Emma Whisler of Veedersburg; a brother, Chancey Fogleman; 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Services will be at 3 p.m. EDT Saturday at the Crumley-Williams Funeral Home. The Rev. Thomas Linton will officiate. Burial will be in the Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. The body is at the funeral home.
